Sicral 1B at X

Hi Nils, I've heard it at X-Band, yesterday (030509) there was a very strong carrier at 7368.000, not sure if it was a tt&c or a transponder centre carrier test. I'll look again today. Incidentally, the satellite was at 13.65East.

New Sicral 1B

Has anyone heard anything from Sicral 1B yet ?
I´m sure it will have it´s tracking beacon enabled already, perhaps they are going to enable one of the uhf tpx in the next days also, who knows.

I´m asking why they locate it right next to the other Sicral at 16,2°E, I think the new sat won´t cover much more of the earth surface, than the 16,2°E sat is already covering ?
